And after watching Watchmen for the first time, I now have a favorite in the world of superheroes - Doctor Manhattan. not Superman, but a man who actually became a real God, capable of controlling the atomic structure of matter. Yes, at the end he has a strange twist when, having distanced himself from humanity, for some reason he fell in love with it, just like life. This is what I didn't really understand. Although, perhaps, his old feelings for Laurie simply played a role and were projected onto all people, although this is a rather far-fetched excuse.
And yes, visually Snyder made real visual porn in different styles. there is superheroics, noir, thriller, 50s style, and even animation, the style of which delights and instills some fear.
